On Friday, January 31, we’re showing one of the great, original music movies—”The Monterey Pop Festival,” often referred to as “The Woodstock Before Woodstock.” Filmed in 1967, it features Jimi Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, The Who, Hugh Masakela, Otis Redding…and many more!
We’ll have meat and meatless chili, cornbread, and salad, along with whatever you bring to drink. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.—the chili will be hot, the cornbread warm, the salad crisp and the drinks are on you. Bell bottoms or tie-dye shirts are not required—but do bring your Summer of Love Good Vibrations. See you there!
