We are extremely fortunate to welcome Yarrow Brown, head of Housing North, as the featured speaker at our March 20, 2021 Zoom meeting.
Yarrow’s a former Yooper who’s worked with land conservancies, non-profits and local governments on master plans and watershed protection projects. She’s currently on the Cleveland Township Planning Commission in Leelanau County.
As the head of Housing North, she leads a team that advocates for using land bank authorities and public/private partnerships to build year-round housing for year-round, working families—a major key to attracting young people and growing up north economies, including Benzie’s.
She’ll walk us through some projects going on around the region and share the actions citizens can take to encourage local governments and developers to build more workforce-affordable housing. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn what you can do to help Benzie thrive!
