The way we take care of our seniors is an indication of how we value all of life. No one should lack for basics like good food, affordable health care, a comfortable place to live, and access to companionship, family and transportation. Seniors teach us lessons only learned through long life experience. We should see ourselves in seniors who have lost their independence or memory, and collectively take care of them with the kind of compassion we all deserve.
