First there’s our monthly Benzie Dems Party meeting: coffee & treats at 9:30 a.m.; community announcements at 10; and a fine presentation by Jim Olson on recent, crucial, Line 5 developments. Then we’ll discuss a Line 5 resolution and the upcoming county and state Dem conventions.
Elsewhere, the week-long Benzie Water Festival holds two of its final events: the Frozen 5K Race and creative stuff for kids. On Sunday, Reverend Dinah Haag of the First Congregational Church of Frankfort will talk about the sacredness of water.
