You’re invited to a Sunday, July 20, 3 – 5 pm, reception at the Betsie River Centennial Lily Farm to meet candidate Jerry Cannon (First Congressional District) and support his candidacy. Refreshments will be served. Suggested donations is $20.
General Jerry Cannon is a Vietnam veteran and has served his country as a Major General in the Michigan National Guard. He had been deployed several times around the world, including a tour of duty in Iraq. Jerry won election four times for Sheriff of Kalkaska County.
The Betsie River Centennial Lily Farm is at 17745 Moore Rd. Thompsonville. Directions: From US 31: Turn east onto N. Manistee County Line Rd. Turn south (right) onto Moore Road, which runs south off N. Manistee County Line Rd. at roughly 4.5 miles from US 31. From M-115: Turn south onto Kurick Rd. (at Mobile Gas Station corner). Go about 1 block and turn (right/ west) onto N. Manistee County Line Rd. At Moore Rd, turn left/south (left) The Lily Farm is approximately 1.5 miles south of County Line Rd. on the east side of the road.
