May Day! May Day! Protest Postal Privatization!

Mark your calendars. Our next public push against The Felon and his mad, mad regime will be in front of the Frankfort, Benzonia, and Honor post offices this Thursday, May 1, from 4 to 5 p.m. We’ll be there with our signs and voices to protest the privatization of one of our country’s greatest resources — our national postal service.

In normal times, a post office privatization push would make bigĀ  headlines. But, trapped as we are in the eye of Hurricane Chaos, it’s not attracting enough attention.

We’re getting a fresh shipment of poster board and magic markers at Headquarters–our third batch in as many weeks–and will be open from 1 p.m. on Thursday. Or make your own at home and show up.

Mike and Jana are the rally captains for Honor, and we’ll announce the Frankfort and Benzonia captains very soon. So, wherever you show up, you’ll definitely see some friendly, experienced, engaged folks you can link up with.

There are so many reasons to keep our Post Office public it’s hard to know where to start. This link will take you to an explainer published by the National Association of Letter Carriers that will make it clear — this is a 250-year-old resource we can’t afford to lose to greedy, downsizing profiteers.
