Locally supporters of equality will gather on U.S. 31 at the Benzie County Courthouse (Government Center) at 10 am, Saturday, Sept. 13 in support the Washington DC rally.
People will have placards supporting the passage of the ERA (Equal Rights Amendment) that was first introduced in the 70s. Helen Milliken worked hard for its passage as did legions of us for so many years, marching on Washington and around the country for equality.
