The Benzie Dems hosted a holiday open house that opened many hearts in the true spirit of the season. In addition to a festive buffet and warm greetings throughout the day, we also offered Benzie Demz and Friendz the opportunity to help our community in this challenging time with donations to St. Philip’s Baby Pantry and Benzie Food Partners.
Here is Jeffie from Benzie Food Partners, accepting donations from President Jim Dulzo — a whole truck load of food items to stock their shelves.
In addition to the plentiful food and childcare items collected for the two non-profits, the event also resulted in cash donations of $2000 for St. Philip’s Baby Pantry and about $2250 for Benzie Food Partners.
