It’s time to rise up again, make some serious noise and good trouble, and defend our fellow Americans and the other humans the Felon and his wrecking crew are abusing so terribly.
Some of us will aim our signs at what the late, great John Lewis spent his life combatting–attack on voting rights.
Others will stand for the immigrants (and bona fide Americans) now being disappeared, detained and degraded in brutal camps.
And still others will protest the Big Ugly Betrayal Bill’s attacks on healthcare, food assistance, or the rising clean energy economy’s tens of thousands of good jobs.
Whatever it is that horrifies and angers you the most, this is how we fight back, as united Americans. This is how we spread the word to neighbors, friends and strangers that we are now in a huge emergency that all of us, standing together, can and must end.
So, what’s the deal? About the same as last time, with just a few changes. We gather in downtown Benzonia, on both sides of US 31, by the post office and the township hall, and spread out along the sidewalk in both directions from there.
Please park where you can, but without blocking driveways or using private parking lots, and head towards either building. Our marshals will point the way–do follow their directions.
And DO NOT CROSS US 31 except at the marked crosswalk by the township hall.
TIPS:
- Wear patriotic colors, especially blue!
- Also, sensible shoes, a hat for the sun, water, and a big smile.
- Bring signs, or a flag, or both.
- Bring the little ones–this is a summertime family affair. And our children is who we are doing this for!
- Do everything you can to bring more people to our side–that’s how we will prevail.
