State Reps Carrie Rheingans (L) and Betsy Coffia are working on universal healthcare for Michigan.
And it’s no pie-in-the-sky thing. It’s an actual bill in the Michigan Legislature. We’ll hear from its author, State Rep. Carrie Rheingans, and one of its big supporters, our own Rep. Betsy Coffia. It even has a name: MiCare.
Betsy will join us in person at Headquarters at 9:30 a.m. for coffee, homemade breakfast treats, and warm conversation. It’s ALWAYS great to see her face in our place!
And, after our 10 a.m. party and community announcements, she will be joined, via Zoom, by Carrie. Together, they will tell us all about this bold, hopeful proposal and then answer our questions.
