This Saturday, July 18, Dana Nessel will speak to us for what likely will be her last time as attorney general and, as always, she’ll have some direct, important things to say.
She’ll also take our questions on everything from the current state of Line 5, to suing The Felon on a remarkably long list of his dangerously bone-headed moves against Michigan.
We’ll also hear from Rebecca Amidon, our candidate for Michigan’s 32nd District Senate seat. She’s strong, plain-spoken, easy to like, and very at home speaking to people on the other side.
Just so you know, ever since Rebecca’s primary opponent, Jay Kilgo, withdrew, we’ve been doing all we can to make sure she wins our crucial 32nd District seat so Dems can hold onto the Michigan Senate.
In fact, Benzie Dems just made a big donation to her campaign. We’re also planing a billboard for her and hosting a fundraising party soon (see below) so all y’all can get even more connected to her campaign.
So join us this Saturday, July 18, starting at 9:30. We’ll set out hot coffee and more of those breakfast treats we Benzie Dems are famous for. We’ll hear Party announcements at 10, followed by our two stellar guests.
If you just can’t make it in person, please Zoom with us! Here’s the registration link.
But we’d love to see you in person, especially if you’ve not been to a meeting before. Yummy breakfast treats and a whole lot of friendly faces! And news from leaders in the know! See you Saturday!
