Thanks to organizer Dick Robb and many generous donors, the Benzie Democratic Party is opening a headquarters on U.S. 31 in Honor for this election and beyond. If enough funding is available, the executive committee would like to have a year-round home base that is open between elections and can be used for various events.
There will be an Open House for the headquarters with a ribbon cutting ceremony by all available candidates on Thursday, June 12 from 5 to 7 pm. The new office is at 9930 Honor Highway (U.S. 31) between Shirley’s Salon and the Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theater.
During June and July, the office will be open the following hours (they’ll expanded closer to the election): Mondays, 10 am – 4 pm; Tuesdays, 4 – 8 pm; Wednesdays closed; Thursdays, 6 – 8 pm; Saturdays closed, except for 3rd Sat. of the month, 10 am – 2 pm; Sundays closed.
