GT Band Chairman David Arroyo to Speak to Dems April 17

We are honored to host Chairman David Arroyo of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians as the guest speaker for our April meeting. With the positive things the Biden administration is doing with Native Americans–like providing major tribal assistance via the American Rescue Act and appointing America’s first-ever Native American cabinet member, Interior Secretary Deb Haaland–we’re eager to hear Chairman Arroyo’s thoughts on how things might be changing in Washington–and in northern Michigan.

The Chairman will also talk about Earth Day and ongoing efforts to keep our planet livable.

Please plan to join us for a virtual coffee klatch April 17 at 9:30 am, with the regular meeting beginning at 10 am.
