On March 28, 2026, the third “No Kings” rallies will take place all over the US. As of this writing, there are already 2600 locations signed up at NoKings.org. Here’s the current map. No Kings Rallies.
Studies of other mass social movements tell us that if 3 percent of the population joins in protests against oppressive, lawless rulers, long-term structural change can happen. Five million people rallied for No Kings in June 2025; seven million for No Kings 2 in October 2025. If ten million people (all unpaid, as they always have been) turn out on March 28, that threshold will be reached.
Here’s the plan:
10:30 Join us at Benzie Dems Headquarters to make signs and power up for the rally.
1 p.m. Park on either side of US 31 near the Benzonia Post Office.
Do not park on private property. DO NOT CROSS US 31 except at the Traverse Intersection. It’s a very dangerous highway.
1 to 3 p.m Line Up along both sides of US 31, starting at Walker Street and heading south from there.
Bring signs, bring American flags, bring your friends, neighbors, and families. With your help, we will make this the biggest demonstration Benzie’s ever seen, part of the biggest nationwide demonstration America’s ever seen!
Why we have to speak out
Despite the naysayers who seem willing to believe whatever claims are made by this rogue administration, a growing share of Americans know that this is not the United States we know and love. Blatant violations of our sacred Constitution are now business as usual. The latest polls show only 38 percent support for the current regime in Michigan. There are very good reasons that even his voters and his party are jumping ship.
We left England 250 years ago to escape the rule of a King. The framers of the Constitution created multiple safeguards to ensure no one would ever assume the role of king or dictator in the U.S. Donald Trump has crashed through all those barriers, ignoring the Constitution and the balance of power, with a constant barrage of irrational actions, including:

- Appointing wildly unqualified cronies to critical cabinet jobs.
- Forcing illegal tariffs which cost businesses and citizens millions
- Taking illegal and unauthorized military action in Venezuela and starting a full-scale war in Iran with massive loss of military and civilian life and creating instability throughout the Middle East.
- Ongoing attempts to stop free and fair elections.
- Deploying ICE, a pseudo military, against immigrants and US citizens, up to and including murder.
- Detaining, imprisoning, and deporting hundreds of people, including legal immigrants, without due process
- Gutting federal agencies essential to public health and safety, including NOAA and NIH.
- Threatening private corporations and public institutions with reprisals and withdrawn funding for not obeying his dictates
- Continually covering up the damning evidence of the Epstein files which he promised to release.
- Losing the respect and support of other countries around the world, including our long-term allies, through threats, economic bullying, and war.
- Radically destabilizing our economy and blowing the Federal deficit sky-high.
In short, the democracy that we have fought for and believed in for 250 years is now in serious jeopardy thanks to an aging narcissist who would be king. To save it, we have to fight back, speak out, and let this administration know we refuse to cede our country to a dictator.
No Kings on March 28 needs your voice and presence to deliver the message. The time is well overdue to remove this president and his supporters and install a government of the people, by the people, for the people.
