Despite the blustery weather, our event on December 13 at Headquarters was warm and wonderful, with a delicious holiday buffet, seasonal tunes, and generous donations of goods and money for both St. Philip’s Baby Pantry and Benzie Food Partners.
Folks donated close to $2,000 in cash to each organization. They also dropped off what amounted to a van-full of baby pantry items and another van-full of groceries. We even raised close to $200 for pets…meeting another great challenge as keeping animals becomes so terribly expensive.
If you were unable to make it and want to add to our community’s success raising money to feed and clothe struggling Benzie families, do write checks to “Benzie Food Partners” and/or “St. Philip’s Baby Pantry” and mail them to Benzie Dems, PO Box 403, Beulah MI 49617.
We’ll quickly get them to where they need to go.
