We lost Rev. Steve Thompson last week. It’s a big loss: Despite many physical challenges, he always did whatever he could for our cause. He was key to the statewide drive for legalizing cannabis, for getting pot violators out of prison, and for so many other Democratic values he so treasured.
We will miss his warm humor, down-home sensibility, and fierce dedication. And we’re quite sure he’d say, “Don’t be sad. Get busy! There’s a country and a world that need saving!”
